INTIMATE PORTRAITURE WITHOUT THE USUAL RULES

Boudoir can be elegant or provocative. Polished or raw. Suggestive or explicit. It can borrow from fashion, beauty, erotic photography, or something that doesn’t fit neatly into any category at all.

I don’t begin with an idea of what a boudoir session is supposed to look like. We begin with what interests you: the photographs you’re drawn to, what you want to reveal, what you’d rather leave to suggestion, and how far you want to explore.

I bring more than two decades of experience in lighting, direction, fashion, portraiture, and intimate photography to every session. That experience gives us the freedom to explore without sacrificing the quality of the photographs.

The result isn’t my version of you. It’s something we create together.

  • Rich is a wonderful photographer and is always amazing at making tou feel completely comfortable and confident during a shoot. I personally have done 3 different boudoir photoshoots with Rich and never in a million years ever expected to walk out of the shoot 150% MORE confident, than I was walking in. If you want amazing photos you absolutely have to book tour time with Rich! You will not be disappointed at all!

    Rich made me feel extremely comfortable from the moment I arrived to the time I left my Boudoir shoot. I was very nervous leading up to the shoot. I felt totally safe and respected. The shoot was actually very fun! Rich’s hair and makeup artist, Martha was incredible, she did her magic on me. Very happy about that! Nelly, his assistant/wife was awesome making me feel comfortable and she was a pro at coaching and giving me tips… which I needed. The entire experience was a time to remember.   • Just had my photo shoot, was a bit nervous at first, but he put me at ease and made the time fun and relaxed. They were experts at arranging my outfits, picking those that would look best on me, and orchestrating the shot to run smoothly.     The decision to do a boudoir shoot after a mastectomy and reconstruction was tough for me. I’ve spent more than two decades photographing people, from intimate portraits and private commissions to fashion campaigns, editorials, and runway around the world.

What has kept me interested all these years is that no two people bring the same thing to a photograph. I don’t want to turn you into someone I’ve photographed before. I want to discover what happens when my experience and point of view meet yours.

That’s why my work can move from elegant to provocative, restrained to explicit, polished to raw. The photographs change because the person in front of my camera changes.
